im back :)

so so sorry i have been incredibly absent lately. i have been starting my own company! and in trying to get everything ready, haven’t been paying any attention to you =(

well i am back now so no worries! 

so, yeah, like i said – starting my own company! it is so exciting but so stressful and scary. i dont know if i have told you this, but i work as a social media marketer for a company in london called Carve Consulting. anyways, it is only a part time gig and a little unstable so i wanted to get another job to make some extra money. well, i don’t know if you have heard about the economy lately, but finding a job right now has become a nearly impossible task! being that i love what i do working for Carve, i decided to branch out on my own and do some freelance work. Tribe Media Marketing was born – a social networking company assisting life coaches in building their business. i have just started building my client list and now the website and all other social media sites are up and running =)

need your creative help!

are you creative at all? are you good at coming up with names? i need a business name and FAST! the company niche is SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING. the most simple way to put it is the marketer would use social networking sites like twitter, facebook, linkedin, etc. to connect companies or businesses with their clients or future clients. they use these websites also as a way to get their brand out there and make people aware of it. its like online PR work.

if you are good at coming up with things like this, i can really use your help. i want a name that is easy to remember, and that people get an idea of what the business is all about when they hear it. i am thinking that it would be something that would have to do with networking and/or connecting people. any suggestions would be GREATLY, GREATLY appreciated!

somehow i happened to stumble across this really cool site and felt i should share it with you – my amazing readers =)

the website is called Wordle and what you do is create a cloud of all of your favorite words. you can also select your blog and they will make one for you, creating it with the words you use the most.

usually it is much larger than this but i had to scrunch it down so it wouldnt take up the whole post. i even have it set as the background on my desktop to remind me of what i want in my life.

have you ever seen the old movie ‘singing in the rain’ with gene kelly? well, first off, if you havent- YOU SHOULD. i love old movies and this one is definately top 3 for me! anyways, secondly, i just found this video of the scene where gene kelly is dancing in the rain, but with a new age spin to it! so funny =) check it out…

this is my NEW & IMPROVED blog

i love how it is just all so simple now but still looks stylish and put together. with blogger, their templates are just riduculously horible {unless you want something REALLY plain} and i am not techy enough to incorperate templates i’ve found off the internet. all that crap is just too friggin complicated! thats what i have my boyfriend for anyways  

im rambling now.

ANYWAYS, i hope you find my new setup enjoyable and feel inclined to return again and again!
